Hotel Eigelstein - Cologne

Everything was fantastic at this affordable hotel. the staff was super helpful but didn't hover. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices, and the location was just right! 😊.

It was perfectly clean, I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly, the room was warm, everything was great. Location: the hotel was close enough to the central station and the cathedral as well as Cologne Cathedral, River Rhine, Hohenzollernbruecke. I was surprised at nearby Damla, they had some goodies, drinks. I had a marvellous breakfast with many options, the food was freshly made.

Our room had everything we needed - there was an electric kettle, a mini fridge with snacks, and central heating to keep us cozy. The breakfast had a ton of delicious options to choose from, which was a big plus. 🍳

This place is conveniently situated near the train station, cathedral, main station, and city center, and just a 10-minute drive from Theodor-Heuss-Weiher.

Excellent central location, just a short walk from the city center. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. I had a cozy and clean room with all the necessary facilities. The staff was helpful and friendly. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

I couldn't believe how conveniently located this place was, it blew my mind! The family atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the temperature in the room was just perfect. The bed and bathroom were super comfy and spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a bit of everything, it was jaw-dropping! And having a balcony where I could smoke without being treated like a criminal was a huge plus. It was awesome to stay in a small family business, so much better than those big, impersonal hotels. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the fact that the hostess spoke Russian was a pleasant surprise. They even had parking available for the whole stay, which was a huge relief. an AMAZING experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone.
